Côr Lumina
About us
Côr Lumina Berlin is a dynamic mixed choir founded in Berlin in 2019 and led by composer and opera singer Jennifer Evans. Bringing together more than 60 people from over 30 different countries, it is known for its rich harmonies, emotional performances and cross-cultural repertoire ranging from contemporary choral works and sacred music to folk traditions and reimagined pop arrangements. The choir performs works by composers such as Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo and Elaine Hagenberg, while also exploring music from diverse international traditions and contemporary female voices. Côr Lumina regularly partners with charitable organisations like Lara, Berliner Kältehilfe, and Terre des Femmes, raising funds and awareness for social causes through music.
